Westminster’s 14 Days of Giving Sets $1 Million Goal

Fall at Westminster with Westminster Hall in the background

Westminster’s 14 Days of Giving begin Monday, April 24 and lasts through May 7. This annual fundraising drive encourages alumni to support their Alma Mater with donations to the Westminster Fund, building a legacy of mutual support with the College, other alumni, and current and future students.

“Alumni support is critical to the health and wellbeing of any college,” says Kelly Dopman, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, ”and we’ve made great progress on that front.”

This year’s goal is $1,000,000, and the drive is off to a positive start. By April 2016, 5% of Westminster’s alumni had made a financial gift to the College. This year, that rate has nearly tripled at 14%.

The Westminster Fund supports the general scholarship fund, academic initiatives, leadership programs and student activities, among other important programs on campus.
