The Westminster women’s soccer team fell to Nebraska Wesleyan, 4-0, in their season opener on Saturday.
Sophomore goalkeeper Ellen Woolsey had eight saves throughout the 90 minutes. Juniors Ashley Schimmel and Tayisah Pohtos each had a shot on goal.
The Blue Jays return to action on September 6 with a game versus The University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark.
