Women’s Soccer Drops Non-Conference Match Up 0-4
The Westminster women’s soccer team hosted Central College (Iowa) Tuesday evening. The Blue Jays dropped the non-conference match up 0-4 and move their record to 3-8-1.
The Dutch of Central College scored just 1:55 into the game. They scored two more in the first half. The Blue Jays were unable to get a shot off in the first half, but took two shots on goal in the second half.
The Dutch scored in the 48th minute, putting the score at 4-0, but the Blue Jays held the Dutch from scoring again.
Freshman Ellen Woolsey finished the game with 6 saves. Senior Katie Seyer and sophomore Erin DeVasto each had a shot on goal.
The Blue Jays host MacMurray College on Saturday, October 12, at 7:00 p.m.
