Women’s Soccer Downed 0-7 By Undefeated Webster
The Westminster women’s soccer team was defeated 0-7 by undefeated Webster University Tuesday evening. The loss brought the Westminster Blue Jays’ St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) record to 3-5, while continuing Webster’s perfect 8-0 SLIAC record.
Webster scored three goals in the first half and four more in the second half. The Blue Jays were limited to just one shot, taken by sophomore Tayisah Pohtos (Ousley). Freshman goalkeeper Ellen Woolsey had five saves at the end of the game.
The Blue Jays head to Eureka, Illinois this Saturday, November 2, to complete their conference season as they face Eureka College at 3:00 p.m.
