James Named SLIAC Player of the Week For Second Consecutive Week
St. Louis, Mo. – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for December 23 and for the second consecutive week, senior Joe James was selected. James’ week was highlighted by a career high 32 point effort in his team’s 82-80 win over Coe College. James went 10-of-17 from the field and 11-of-12 from the free-throw line as he paced all scorers. James added 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in the contest. In two games for the week James averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
