“America’s Got Talent” Hypnotist to Perform at Westminster Nov. 11 (Open to the Public)

On November 11, chrisjones (one word), one of the newest and most energetic performers in the college market, will perform at Westminster College in Fulton, MO at 7 p.m. in Champ Auditorium. Sharing his popular hypnosis show with high schools and universities across the country, chrisjones offers a highly interactive show, with students as the stars. In the summer of 2015, chrisjones made his television debut on America’s Got Talent, where he famously hypnotized one of the judges, Howie Mandel.

A Chicago-native, chrisjones took a roundabout way to becoming one of today’s most entertaining performers on the college market. A nationally ranked athlete in college, he studied Sociology and Psychology claiming himself to be a “social engineer with deviant motives.” He was a resident assistant for three years and used magic as a means of connecting with students living in the hall.

After years of performing magic and stand-up comedy, chrisjones went on graduate school and became fascinated with the art of hypnosis. Performing three shows a week while obtaining a Masters in Therapeutic Recreation, he developed the perfect balance of conjuring, psychology, comedy and suggestion.

The November 11 event is open to the public and free of charge. The show carries a PG-13 rating.
