Women’s Cross Country Takes 3rd at Gary Stoner Invitational

The Westminster women’s cross country team finished 3rd at the Gary Stoner Invitational this weekend at Central Methodist University.
The Lady Blue Jays won themselves a third place finish out of six teams in the 5k Dash.
Leading the way for the Blue Jays was freshman Taylor Howard with a sixth place finish (21:13.77), followed by junior Claire Gibby at 12th (21:29.82).
Freshman Shannon McCaul (21:39.82) and junior Brier Skogsberg (21:46.20) finished in 13th and 14th place, respectively.
Senior Tiara Pettijohn (23:01.62) finished with a 22nd place finish, and freshman Alexandra Rauscher rounded out the Blue Jays with a 23rd place finish.
The Blue Jays travel to Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois on Saturday, October 11th.
