Each year at Westminster College, the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority host a golf tournament to raise funds for Reading is Fundamental and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.

The two organizations are dedicated to improving the lives of people across the country. Reading is Fundamental helps spread literacy to children in areas where books are not available. The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation is devoted to improving the lives of members of Kappa Kappa Gamma who have faced hard times.

This year’s tournament was held at Railwood Golf Club in Holts Summit on September 26. Sixteen four-player teams participated, raising more than $5,000 through donations, a raffle, a silent auction, and even some mulligans. The money will be split between the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation and Reading is Fundamental.

The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma would like to thank all donors and participants for making this event a success.
