Dr. Philip Cunningham’s C.S. Lewis Lecture Available Online on Westminster Site

Unfortunately, the seventh annual C.S. Lewis Lecture scheduled for Feb. 7 had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. However, the lecturer, Dr. Philip Cunningham, Professor of Theology and Co-Director of the Institute for Jewish-Christian Relations at St. Joseph’s University, has shared his remarks which we publish in this edition of Westminster Today.

Below you will find Dr. Cunningham’s lecture, “From Other to Brother: An Unprecedented Rapprochment between Christians and Jews in Our Time,” as well as the introduction of Dr. Cunningham by Dr. Cliff Cain, Harrod-C.S. Lewis Professor of Religious Studies and Chair of Westminster’s Department of Classics, Philosophy and Religious Studies.

The C.S. Lewis Legacy Lecture was endowed in the fall of 2012 by James W. “Jim” Harrod, Westminster Class of 1957, and his wife Sharon from Horseshoe Bay, TX, to honor the legacy of the late British theologian, C.S. Lewis, by engaging the campus community and the surrounding community in topics and issues that were important to him and that stimulated his writing.
