Annual Leadership Conference Focuses on Community Engagement, Social Responsibility
On Friday, March 18th, students attended the 12th annual Westminster Leadership Conference. With breakout sessions throughout the afternoon with several guest speakers and a keynote lecture hosted by leadership consultant Michael Miller, students explored topics such as recognizing and addressing microaggressions, speaking up, understanding communication styles, and overcoming barriers to leadership.
The annual leadership conference is designed to give students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to enhance their leadership knowledge and skills. Presenters provide topics to help attendees learn and develop crucial leadership skills they can utilize to cultivate community engagement and social responsibility.
