Women’s Tennis Drops Final Regular Season Match To Stephens

The Westminster women’s tennis team dropped their final regular season match to Stephens College, 6-3, on Tuesday, April 22. The Westminster Blue Jays close out their regular season with a 5-7 overall record.

Senior Mary Nestor and freshman Ellen Woolsey won the point from the doubles play, winning 8-1 in the three spot.

Freshman Ellen Woolsey won two points for the Blue Jays. She won 6-0, 6-1 in the six spot and won 8-1 in the three spot of doubles play with her partner, senior Mary Nestor. Freshman Mariah Hernandez won the other point, sweeping Stephens in the five spot with two 6-0 scores.
