Women’s Tennis Advance to Third Place Match in SLIAC Tournament
St. Louis, Mo. – The Westminster women’s tennis team will advance to the third place match in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Tournament after splitting matches on Friday, April 25. The Westminster Blue Jays will face #4 Webster to decide who takes home third place tomorrow, April 26, at 11:00 a.m.
The Blue Jays faced #6 Fontbonne University in the first round of the SLIAC Tournament and defeated them 5-0 to move on to the semifinal round. They faced #2 Greenville College in the semifinals and fell to them, 5-4.
The Blue Jays are 6-8 heading into Saturday’s match.
The Tournament is being held at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
