Women’s Soccer Falls To Simpson 1-3
The Westminster women’s team went into the game with a 2-2-1 record, but could not defeat the Storm of Simpson College and lost 1-3 Monday evening.
Freshman Adrienne Ebersole scored her first collegiate career goal in the 38th minute off an assist from junior Manyima Njie. The Blue Jays were limited to two shots on goal throughout the game and only eight shots total. Freshman Ellen Woolsey faced 14 shots on goal and finished the game with 11 saves.
The Lady Blue Jays are now 2-3-1 for the 2013 season. They will host neighboring William Woods University Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m.
