Westminster Institute for National Security Offers Summer Learning for High School Students
Registration is still open for high school students who want to live on the Westminster College campus for three days while exploring and confronting global security issues.
The Westminster Institute for National Security (WINS) will be held July 8-11 on the Westminster campus.
Seminar topics this year will include Torture in the 21st Century, Diplomatic Tools, Biological Crisis and Security, Health and Security, Intelligence Analysis (learning how to assess and analyze information to turn into intelligence), and Winston Churchill, Fulton, and the Cold War.
This unique residential academy is open to all incoming juniors and seniors in the 2018-19 school year. A $500 all-inclusive fee will be charged to cover food, housing and all activities and classes.
Students who complete WINS can earn one hour of college credit in security studies for an additional $150 fee.
