Student Profile: Will Megl, ’15

Senior Will Megl is on the track to a bright and promising future. Through his life so far, he has overcome many obstacles like complications at birth, having a spindle cell tumor, COPD, and getting hit by a mail truck at age six.

Despite also having respiratory issues, Will is passionate about his involvement in cross-country and track and was originally drawn to Westminster by the dedication of the coaches. When he first arrived, he studied engineering until his perspective on how he could apply math was changed. He switched to studying math and economics and found that he was much happier. Will also became heavily involved in Student Government Association and the Blue Blazers Investment Committee.
