Make Plans to Participate in the 1851 Challenge Running Now Through March 31

Are you looking to beat the late-winter doldrums? Why not participate in a friendly competition among your Westminster classmates! The College kicked off its annual 1851 Challenge on March 1, 2022, along with the traditional Greek Challenge.

For those unfamiliar it, the 1851 Challenge launched in 2021 and is a friendly competition in which the Greek and Independent communities compete for total dollars raised for the Westminster Fund. As in the past, the Greek Challenge is a competition with the same goal that takes place among fraternities and sororities.

Following both good-natured competitions, the President’s Cup is awarded to the group that raises the most. Likewise, the Greek Challenge recognizes the fraternities and sororities that witness the highest participation and that raise the most for the Westminster Fund.

Please consider making a gift to the Westminster Fund — which provides vital support to all areas of campus life — during the 1851 Challenge. Your participation helps current students enjoy the distinguished standards of a Westminster education.

Your gift can be made with a check or credit/debit card and primarily supports the Westminster Fund but may be restricted to a particular purpose by indicating so on the memo line of your check or in the notes section of Westminster’s online giving form. No pledges, written or verbal, will count towards the challenge. You can give to the 1851 Challenge through March 31, 2022.

To give, simply visit Westminster’s Giving Page.
