Westminster Alumnus Steve Bowen Featured in CPO Rising Magazine

Steven Bowen ’82 ΒΘΠ from Duxbury, Massachusetts, has been recognized as a leader in his industry in a profile in CPO Rising magazine, a publication for procurement officers. The article, part of the magazine’s Procurement Influencer series, tracks Bowen’s success through his 30-year career in procurement, operations, and manufacturing consulting.

Bowen founded his company, Maine Pointe, in 2004, and serves as chairman. The Boston-based procurement, logistics, and operations consultancy has been named one of the 30 most trusted companies in America by the Silicon Review and is on CIO Review Magazine’s list of top 20 procurement companies. His book, Total Value Optimization: Transforming Your Supply Chain into a Competitive Weapon, was published this year. 

Bowen graduated from Westminster in 1982, where he majored in Chemistry. He and his wife, Deborah, are generous supporters of the College. They belong to the prestigious Sentinels of the Columns giving society, and in 2017 pledged a $100,000 matching gift to encourage fellow alumni to support their alma mater during the 14 Days of Giving.
