New Vice President for Enrollment Management to Join Westminster in November

Westminster College in Fulton, MO announced today the appointment of Robert B. Andrews, II as Vice President for Enrollment Management.  He will join Fobert AndrewsWestminster on November 23.

“Bobby brings to Westminster what we need – a fresh, proven prospective on recruiting students and an understanding of the changing dynamics on how best to engage the current generation of students,” said Westminster President Dr. Benjamin Akande.

Andrews most recently holds five years of intensive experience at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. At Stetson, as Director of Admission, he led university enrollment for the fall 2015 class that exceeded enrollment goal by 200 students, with the university’s most diverse admitted student profile.

“The Search Committee is very pleased that Bobby has accepted Westminster’s offer to become the next Vice-President and Dean of Enrollment Management,” said Dr. David Jones, Associate Dean of Faculty and Professor of Psychology at Westminster, who led the search committee for the position. “Bobby’s strong record in admissions at Stetson University and his recognized administrative skills in working with a wide variety of constituencies convinced the committee that he will be an outstanding addition to the Westminster community.”

“Bobby also brings exciting experience and proven success in looking at new student constituencies for Westminster,” said Heather Triplett Biehl, Chairman of the College’s Trustee Enrollment Committee.   “He is a recognized admissions leader in expanding into new states and understanding the international student market, both areas in which we plan to add to our recruiting efforts.”

Andrews brings sales and recruiting experience from both inside and outside of higher education, including insurance broker and coaching experience. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, CT) and expects to complete his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in August 2016.

“With its tremendously rich history, amazing alumni base and faculty, and the new, dynamic leadership of President Akande, Westminster is poised for continued greatness and ready to reach new heights of success,” Andrews said. “There is a new energy at Westminster, and I am excited to join in Dr. Akande’s vision for the college.”

Andrews will join Westminster on Nov. 23, relocating to Fulton, MO from Florida with his wife Caitlin and two daughters, Elle (4) and Kathryn (8 weeks).
