Volleyball Goes 1-2 At Mount Saint Joseph Tournament

The Westminster volleyball team went 1-2 at the Mount Saint Joseph Tournament, earning third place. Sophomore setter Kayla Reeg was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Blue Jays played Heidelberg Friday evening and fell 3-1. On Saturday morning, they dropped a match to Thomas More, 3-0. In their final match of the tournament, the Blue Jays defeated Mount Saint Joseph, 3-0.

Sophomore Amanda Kiso hit .518 on the tournament after going 20-3-35. Sophomore Riley Lawrence finished the tournament with 28 kills.

Reeg had 68 assists for the weekend, and freshman Kendall Johnson led the team with 30 digs.

The Blue Jays host Robert Morris University-Springfield on Tuesday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m. for their home-opener.
