Board of Trustees honors Kent Mueller, ’62, with Trustee Service Award

Taking action on a very special recognition at their May 2013 meeting, the Board of Trustees selected Kent Mueller, ’62, as the first to receive the prestigious Trustee Distinguished Service Award for his exceptional contributions of time, talent and resources to Westminster, his leadership on the Board of Trustees, his outstanding work with the College’s alumni engagement and development efforts, and his strong participation in College life.

Currently CEO of Kent Mueller Ventures, a venture capital company specializing in first round financing for high tech start-up companies, Mueller is Westminster’s single largest individual donor, with gifts totaling more than $3 million. Without his leadership and generosity, such campus projects as the Mueller Student Center, the Mueller Leadership Hall, and the new Mesa campus might never have occurred. He has been a Board of Trustee member since 1994 and currently serves on the Executive, Institutional Operations and Mesa Oversight committees.
