Plassmeyer Named UMAC Offensive Player Of The Week
The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced their first football UMAC Players of the Week and Westminster’s senior quarterback, Joe Plassmeyer, was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week.
Plassmeyer threw 356 yards for 3 touchdowns on Saturday in the loss to Hendrix College. He finished the day with a 61.1 completion percentage after going 33-54-1. Plassmeyer also had a one-yard rush for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Westminster begins their conference play this Saturday, September 13 as they travel to St. Bonifacius, Minnesota to face Crown College. Kick-off is at 1:00 p.m. The game will be streamed here.
