Niche.com Ranks Westminster in MO’s Top 5 Colleges and Universities

Rankings for 2016 released yesterday by Niche.com place Westminster College among the top five colleges and universities in the state of Missouri and in the top 20 percent in the nation.

Other schools named in Missouri’s top 5 by Niche.com include Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla), and Saint Louis University.

Niche.com annually ranks more than 1,100 schools nationwide based on more than 50 statistical factors and millions of student reviews. The research site points out Westminster College’s success with student satisfaction and student return rate after their first year of college (83%) and overall student success (70% of students graduate). Westminster ranks 224 out of 1164 colleges and universities in the nation assessed by Niche.com.

This Niche.com ranking is the third Missouri top 5 recognition for Westminster announced this academic year, including the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard released in mid-September and SmartAsset.com’s assessment of high starting salaries for college graduates released in late August.
