Students Flock to Involvement Fair in Mueller Leadership Hall
A sizeable crowd of students packed into Mueller Leadership Hall at 11 a.m. on Aug. 29 to learn about nearly 40 clubs and organizations offered on campus.
Margie Lechner, Coordinator of Campus Life, says the annual Student Involvement Fair showcased the diversity of activities in which students can become involved at the College. She adds that she is pleased with the turnout at the event.
“This year’s Student Involvement Fair was a great success,” Lechner says. “New students were able to get information about our varied selection of clubs and organizations, and they found ways to get involved with something that matches their interests.”
Westminster College’s Education Association was one of many organizations with booths at the Student Involvement Fair last week. Pictured from left are MaKayla Jackson ’21 ΚΚΓ, Dr. Tami Ensor, Therasia Brautigam ’20 ΑΓΔ and Anna Sodemann ’20 ΚΚΓ.
Student Life Fellow Hannah Macon ’19 of Cape Girardeau, MO, adds that she enjoyed the fair and thought the event was productive. The sociology major says, “Many different clubs, associations and surrounding community groups came out to show all the great things Westminster can provide.”
