Student Publishes Novel in French
Steven Sakayroun, ’16, is the author of Assassin, a novel recently published by the French publishing house Edilivre. Sakayroun, from the Republic of Central Africa & Senegal, offers this description of Assassin:
“Assassin‘s message is to underline and question the tendency of our society to believe, candidly, in the facts we see and witness without fully deconstructing these facts and taking a systematic approach to understanding the reasons behind these facts. The message is conveyed through the story of a young boy who commits a series of murders because of his love for his family and, more importantly, his personal judgement.”
