SAAC’s Canned Food Drive

The Westminster Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is participating in the 
St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) canned food drive competition. They will be hosting the canned food drives during the October 12th soccer games and the November 2nd Volleyball Tri-Match.

The October 12th soccer games are doubling as the canned food drive and the free soccer clinic hosted by the Westminster soccer teams. The free clinic will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Westminster soccer field. The men’s team will host MacMurray College at 5:00 p.m., with the women’s team following at 7:00 p.m.

The November 2nd volleyball tri-match will begin at 10:00 a.m. The Blue Jays will host Principia and Blackburn.

All food collected will be donated to the food pantry here in Fulton.

The Blue Jays will host three more food collection days during the course of the year. There will be a canned food drive during one basketball, baseball and softball game. The dates will be announced later in the year.
