President’s Dinner Recap

Good food, fellowship, and a celebration of loyalty marked the evening of October 11 at the annual President’s Dinner.  Held each year for members of the President’s Club and Lifetime Giving Societies, this popular event was especially meaningful this year as we celebrated the very heart of Westminster College – leadership. The evening’s featured speaker was young alumnus Derick Dailey ’11 whose speech was a testament about the powerful ways that Westminster shaped him as a leader. Lloyd ’63 and Jan Taylor were honored as new members to the 1851 Cornerstone Society, and they were also recognized for recently awarding senior Elyssa Mann a scholarship that is enabling her complete her degree after her family’s home was destroyed by the Moore, Oklahoma tornado. Two additional major donors were recognized for their Lifetime Giving Awards – John M. Panettiere and Bill Reller. As we celebrate the dynamic ways that Westminster is shaping the next generation of global leaders, please know that we also celebrate our generous donors for the important leadership they demonstrate in giving back to our fine institution.  With continued support, Westminster will continue to excel in its mission to prepare students for lives of success, significance and service.
