Military Honored by Churchill Museum on Veterans Day

The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury

Members of our military and veterans as well as members of their immediate families will receive special recognition this Friday, November 11, from the National Churchill Museum.

All active military, veterans and their families will receive free admission to the Museum in celebration of Veterans Day.  Proof of status is required.

“We want to honor the sacrifices of our military and veterans who have served this country so honorably,” says Tim Riley, Director and Chief Curator of the National Churchill Museum.

In addition to the Museum’s regular exhibits, the Holiday Honor Tree will be on display with photographs sent by area residents of loved ones who are in the military or veterans, alive and deceased, hanging on the tree.

The Museum will be open Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
