Matt Mitchell Warmly Featured by Well-Known Area Sports Reporters in ‘Sports Locker’ Magazine

Based on their warm relationship with Westminster legend Matt Mitchell, well-known local sports reporter Rod Smith and his daughter, Paige, co-authored the following farewell article for the March/April 2022 edition of Sports Locker magazine.

Mitchell is transitioning from associate vice president, athletic director, and head men’s basketball coach into a position with the Office of Institutional Advancement. Mitchell, who has served at Westminster College for 24 years, will be based out of his home in Danville, VA, where he recently moved with his wife, Venita.
