Jones Elected to National Council of Alpha Chi

Dr. David Jones, Professor of Psychology and Associate Dean of Faculty at Westminster College, has been elected to the National Council of the national academic honorary society Alpha Chi.

Alpha Chi delegates elected Jones and three other at-large members at their annual convention April 4-6 in Nashville, TN.

The National Council, Alpha Chi’s chief governing body, is composed of 15 faculty members and seven students.

This year a new procedure was used to introduce each of the candidates running for the Council via videotaped biographies available on You Tube in January and playing on monitors during registration at the convention.  Delegates also receive biographical information on the candidates before the convention and in their registration packets.

New Alpha Chi National Council members will serve until 2017.
