Dr. Jamie Kondis ’02 Featured in Fox 2 News St. Louis Report on How to Recognize Opioid Abuse

Dr. Jamie Spurrier Kondis ’02 KAѲ of St. Louis, Missouri, was recently interviewed by news station Fox2Now in St. Louis on the warning signs of opioid abuse.
Dr. Kondis, a 2015 winner of the Young Alumni Achievement Award, is an assistant professor of Pediatrics at Washington University. She serves as a member of the Child Fatality Review Panel for both St. Louis and St. Charles counties as well as the City of St. Louis. She is also a member of the St. Louis City/County Sexual Assault Response Team. She has provided expert testimony in over 30 court cases.
“Westminster gave me a strong foundation in the sciences but also helped me to learn how to become a better advocate for causes that I care about,” says Kondis. “At Westminster I also developed a strong foundation in writing and public speaking which I often use in my career today.”
