International students at Westminster are making preparations for their annual International Show, which will be held from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. in Champ Auditorium on Friday, Nov. 9.

The cultures of the world will come to Westminster for one night as students perform dances, songs, skits and read poetry from various countries and dress in outfits from their native lands.  Students will also offer free food and a photo booth.

Among the acts will be a Korean Pop Dance (K-pop), a fusion of Bollywood and belly dancing (Bollywood), a Chinese song, a monologue about the Maldives, Afrobeat, and a hip hop dance.  The Westminster Blue Diamond dance team will perform.

The evening of entertainment is free and open to the general public, as well as the Westminster community.

The Westminster International Club held a workshop Saturday, Nov. 3, to raise awareness of the upcoming International Show.  They taught traditional and cultural dances from African countries and served sample food from around the world.
