The Westminster College community is gearing up for Homecoming and Family Weekend 2016, to be held Oct. 7 – 8. Join us for a fall weekend of fun as families catch up with their students, meet faculty and staff, support the Blue Jays and more.
Homecoming Schedule
Tuesday, Oct. 4
Meet the Court at 8 p.m. (location JCI)
Wednesday, Oct. 5
WestMo Spirit Day
Dress up with the most Blue Jay Spirit; best dressed win prizes. Outfit judging will be at the soccer game that night.
Thursday, Oct. 6
Chalk the Block at 6 p.m.
Join us on Seventh St. outside of Wetterau Sports and the Practice Football Field, and create sidewalk art to support Homecoming and the Blue Jay Nation.
Friday, Oct. 7
Power Puff at 4 p.m., Practice FB Field
Pep Rally and HC Court Coronation at 6 p.m., Latshaw Plaza
Homecoming Concert featuring 5 Turn Knot at 7 p.m., Latshaw Plaza (Free Lutz’s BBQ and s’mores!)
Saturday, Oct. 8
Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority Floor Ribbon Cutting at 10 a.m., Wetterau Hall
Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority Floor Ribbon Cutting at 10:30 a.m., Weigle Hall
Tailgating Food and Fun from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., South Endzone. Campus meal served at game, along with many yard games (prizes included!)
Football game vs. Eureka, 1 p.m.
Women’s Soccer vs. Eureka, 5 p.m.
Men’s Soccer vs. Eureka, 7 p.m.
Free food truck treats from 4:30 – 8 p.m.
