Greek Community Celebrates Greek Life Awards

The Westminster Greek community celebrated their successes for this year with the 2017 Greek Life Awards on Thursday, April 27, in the Backer Dining Hall.

The event was sponsored by Order of Omega, an academic honor society comprised of the top 3% of Greek men and women on campus.

Those receiving awards included:

• Highest 2016 sorority GPA: Kappa Alpha Theta
• Highest 2016 sorority new member GPA: Alpha Gamma Delta
• Highest 2016 fraternity GPA: Phi Delta Theta
• Highest 2016 fraternity new member GPA: Phi Delta Theta
• Greek Standards of Excellence:  fraternity and sorority chapters who achieved the highest recognition of excellence for the 2016 calendar year:  Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Phi Delta Theta.
• Outstanding Sorority New Member: Kolbi McNutt, a freshman from Skiatook, OK (Kappa Kappa Gamma)
• Outstanding Fraternity New Member: Zach Eisenreich a freshman from Blue Springs, MO (Beta Theta Pi)     

• Outstanding Sorority Spirit: Kat Cooper, a junior from Marble Hill, MO (Kappa Alpha Theta)
• Outstanding Fraternity Spirit: Isaac Coronel, a senior from Cashion, AZ  (Phi Delta Theta)
• Outstanding Sorority Athlete: Morgan Henry, a junior from Waynesville, MO (Kappa Alpha Theta)
• Outstanding Fraternity Athlete: Adam Mundle, a junior from Des  Peres, MO (Phi Delta Theta)
• Outstanding Panhellenic Officer: Faith Walkley, a senior from Norman, OK ( Kappa Kappa Gamma)
• Outstanding IFC Officer Jordan Cox, a senior from Lee’s Summit, MO (Kappa Alpha Order)
• Outstanding Sorority Chapter Officer: Hannah Hunt, a junior from St. Louis, MO  (Kappa Kappa Gamma)
• Outstanding Fraternity Chapter Officer: Brett Simon, a senior from St. Peters, MO  (Beta Theta Pi)
