Edwina Sandys Returns to Westminster College

Edwina Sandys, granddaughter of Winston Churchill, returns to the National Churchill Museum and Westminster College to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

When the Berlin wall was coming down Edwina traveled to Berlin to pick out eight sections of the wall. Using those eight sections she created Breakthrough, a piece of art and history together that now stands tall at the National Churchill Museum.

Now, 25 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Edwina returns to speak on Sunday the 9th. This will be held in the Coulter Science Center Lecture Hall on the Campus of Westminster College at 1:30pm with a reception following.

This event is free and open to the public.
