Dr. Gibson Featured in Newspaper for Passion for Politics, Hope for His Students
Dr. Tobias Gibson, Westminster College professor and Social Science Division chair, has a passion for politics that spans most of life. He came of age under the Reagan administration, and one of his earliest memories is from March 30, 1981 — the day President Reagan was shot. Even as a young boy, Gibson was learning how politics and current events shape our culture. Today, his work centers on teaching his students history, politics and cultural awareness and encouraging them to think about how they might change the world for the better.
