St. Louis Post-Dispatch Op-ed by Westmo Alum Shows Support for Access Missouri Funding

In a March 19, 2017 op-ed entitled “Helping Students Pay for College is a Wise Investment,” Will Megl ’15 (Delta Tau Delta) says he wouldn’t have been able to attend Westminster without Access Missouri, Missouri’s only need-based financial aid program. In the op-ed, Megl shows his support for Governor Eric Greitens’s plan to maintain the current appropriation for Access Missouri at $63.7 million.

“Access Missouri is fulfilling the objectives it was designed to attain,” says Megl. “It’s also an effective tool in limiting the growth of student debt.”

A financial adviser at Wells Fargo Advisors in St. Louis, Megl holds political aspirations. At Westminster, he was active in his fraternity, Student Government Association, Blue Blazers Investment Committee, Track & Field and more. Learn about Will’s experience at Westminster.
