Computer Science Professor Awarded Tyler Research Fellowship
This week, Ed Mirielli was awarded this year’s the Tyler Research Fellowship. One Tyler Research Fellowship is given each year to support faculty development in the area of global awareness and understanding, in order to further the global mission of the College. The award will be given in the amount of $2500, to be used for international travel, participation in an international conference, or for research.
Mirielli said will use the Fellowship to “travel to further cultivate relations with the Da Vinci Institute in Modderfontein, South Africa. He hope to meet with leadership in order to finalize plans for student/faculty exchange, frame study aboard opportunities, and establish parameters and programs facilitating other real and virtual immersive learning experiences between of our institutions.”
