Lisa Cole Eimers Named Associate Vice President for Development at Westminster College

Lisa Cole Eimers has joined the Office of Institutional Advancement at Westminster College as a Associate Vice President for Development.

In her new position, Eimers will focus on personal visits with alumni, parents and friends and help secure leadership gifts for the College that impact student success and fulfill donors’ philanthropic goals. Partnering with Timothy Riley, Sandra L. and Monroe E. Trout Director and Chief Curator of the National Churchill Museum, she will work to strengthen the fundraising efforts of the Museum. She will also educate and assist donors on the benefits gained through planned giving as an important way to support Westminster.

Eimers comes to Westminster from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she served as director of advancement for the School of Law at the University of Missouri-Columbia and director of advancement for the Office of Central Advancement as part of the $1.2 billion Mizzou: Our Time to Lead campaign. In the previous campaign, the $1 billion For All We Call Mizzou campaign, she was part of the MU regional team’s campaign efforts, as well as served on the development team for the Trulaske College of Business. 

Other past positions include consulting as director of investor relations of Regional Economic Development Inc. and serving as director of development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri.

A Syracuse, New York native, Eimers earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in upstate New York (including a study abroad experience in Cairo, Egypt), followed by a Master of Science in higher education administration from Syracuse University.
