Dokovic Named One of “40 Under 40” by the St. Louis Business Journal

Success in business is what led Dan Dokovic ’04 ΚΑ of Chesterfield, Missouri, to be named one of “40 Under 40” by The St. Louis Business Journal in February. But the real reason Dokovic gets out of bed every morning ready for the day, he might tell you, is his genuine passion for real estate.

“I love what I do, and I would advise anyone that doesn’t like what they do to find their passion,” Dokovic explains. “You will not be successful unless you really enjoy what you do.”

Dokovic is the co-founder of both Intelica CRE and Bamboo Equity Partners in Creve Coeur, Missouri. He spends his days buying mismanaged real estate and working with investors to see what he envisions in various properties throughout the St. Louis area.

Dokovic’s drive has helped Intelica CRE grow from three employees to 40. According to a Feb. 7 article in The St. Louis Business Journal, transactions at Intelica CRE have increased since Dokovic founded the business in 2010 to more than $100 million per year. In addition, the Journal states that since its founding in 2012, Bamboo Equity Partners has created more than $20 million of value for investors in a portfolio that is worth more than $91 million.

A native of Croatia who moved to Quincy, Illinois, as a senior in high school, Dokovic majored in international business with a minor in French while at Westminster and later married Westminster alumna Elizabeth (Chambers) Dokovic ’06 ΚΚΓ. Keep reading to find out more about how Westminster helped Dokovic find both the power in his purpose as well as the love of his life.
