Dickerson Named UMAC Special Teams Player of the Week

Westminster’s kicker Jeff Dickerson was named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of October 28-November 3.

Dickerson averaged 59.5 yards on his two kickoffs, including one touchback, during Saturday’s loss to undefeated Greenville College. He also punted eight times for 353 yards, with a net average of 44.1. Four of his punts landed inside the 20-yard line and three punts were of 50+ yards.

The Blue Jays will finalize the 2013 season on Saturday, November 9, on their home field in Fulton, Missouri. The 2013-14 seniors will be recognized prior to the 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
