Dianne Lowry Named New Director of Annual Programs at Westminster College

Dianne Lowry of Jefferson City, MO is the new Director of Annual Programs at Westminster College.

“It is an honor to become part of an outstanding development team at one of the finest liberal arts colleges in the country,” says Lowry.
In her new position, Lowry’s primary goal is to oversee and direct theWestminster Fund program, which fuels the people and programs central to Westminster’s mission in all areas of campus life such as the general scholarship fund, academic initiatives, leadership programs and student activities and organizations.

She will also lead and coordinate annual giving societies such as thePresident’s Club and True Blue and serve as Westminster’s primary liaison to the Fulton Colleges Fund and Board of Associates.

Previously, she was Development and Foundation Manager at St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City.  At St. Mary’s she was responsible for overseeing annual giving, capital campaigns, fundraising events, as well as managing the Foundation Board of Directors.  During her nine years in this position, she coordinated two successful capital campaigns, implemented the Guardian Angel giving program and was responsible for a number of unique fundraising events including “St. Mary’s Dancing with the Stars” and “A Glimpse of Broadway.”

Other past positions include Community Liaison for the Lincoln University Center on Aging, Executive Director of the Heart of Missouri Girl Scout Council and Director of Volunteer Services at Mid-Missouri Mental Health Center.

Originally from Chesterfield, MO, Lowry is a graduate of William Woods University and attended Westminster College.
