Soul Songs: Churchill Singers to Perform Concert October 30

The Churchill Singers of Westminster College will present a concert entitled Soul Songs: A Litany on Reverence, Light, and Peace on Friday night, October 30, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church in Fulton.  The special concert is planned as part of the festivities to mark the Presidential Inauguration of Dr. Benjamin Akande as the 21st President of Westminster College.

The concert will evoke a humanistic perspective that suggests communion among sisters and brothers, as well as that the beauty of the natural world initiates stirrings within our souls.  The concert is free and open to the public.

Above, Dr. Natasia Sexton, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Fine Arts, leads the Churchill Singers in practice for the Oct. 30 concert.
