Were you married at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury?

What do John Milton, Dr. William Parrish, and the editor of Westminster Today have in common? All were married at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury.

Shipped stone by stone from London, England, and rebuilt on Westminster’s campus to commemorate Winston Churchill’s “Iron Curtain” speech, the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, is more than 800 years old. One can only imagine the number of weddings that took place in the Church before it officially opened in Fulton, MO, about 50 years ago. Today the Church is part of America’s National Churchill Museum.

Are you among those who make up the storied history of the Church?

Our staff is busy dusting off old files and wedding photos — from pastel, bell-bottomed tuxes to beaded gowns with lengthy trains — and tracking down alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the College whose weddings took place at our beloved Church.
