Interactive Children’s Area in World War II Navy Art Exhibit

The National Churchill Museum began hosting an interactive children’s area in the World War II Navy Art: A Vision of History exhibit starting on June 10. Bring your children to see this newest temporary exhibit and let them participate in a number of activities. Geared toward elementary-aged children, hands-on activities include making Navy officer hats, making target kites, trying on Navy hats, learning the Navy ABC’s, and more. The cost to see the WWII Navy Art exhibit is included in the museum’s general admission; the cost for children is $3-6, depend on the child’s age. Children aged 5 and under are free.

The children’s area will run through August 11. Contact Mandy Plybon, Education & Public Programs Coordinator for the National Churchill Museum, 573-592-6242 for more information.
