Center for Career Development Connects Alumni with Potential Employees

Alumni, are you looking for interns or employees who work hard and share your liberal arts background? Or do you simply have career advice to offer our students?

The Center for Career Development at Westminster’s Student Success Center in Reeves Library is happy to connect you with our fantastic, eager student body.

Westminster’s graduate hireability statistics speak for themselves: Our job and graduate school placement rate six months after graduation remains strong at 97 percent. And more than 200 students completed internships on campus and at locations throughout the United States during the 2018-2019 Academic Year. Westminster interns could be found on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.; at Advanced Technology Services, Inc., in Peoria, IL; and at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, NY, to name just a few sites.

The Center for Career Development offers several ways for employers to network with our hardworking students. Refer to our services below to learn how you can partner with our office.

Westminster College Career Network (WCCN) is a digital networking platform that is exclusive for Westminster students, alumni and supporters of the College. Join WCCN to assist students and young alumni as they seek career advice. You also can use the network to connect with fellow alumni.

Sign up to help students by visiting our site here.

Columns CareerLink, powered by GradLeaders, is our comprehensive career-management platform that all Westminster students can access. Additionally, Westminster employers can benefit from the service beyond the Columns — more than 1,000 college career centers use GradLeaders, allowing you to recruit from multiple schools with a single post.

Employers can use the service to post jobs or internships, to put in a request to host information sessions/tables at events or to schedule on-campus interviews.

When you join Columns CareerLink, you also can access our recruiting events such as our annual Career Fair, which typically takes place on campus each fall. Check out our website for more details on Columns CareerLink.* Or simply go here to post your job or internship.
