WOW Now: Women of Westminster Collect Notes of Thanks

Shraddha Amatya, 21, Zhaoming (Angel) Wang, ’20, and Katherine Sokol, ’22, are just a few Women of Westminster (WOW) who currently are found in various locations throughout campus gathering notes of thanks for fellow Westminster women.

Amatya, Wang and Sokol gathered well-wishes during the lunch rush on Nov. 21 outside of Backer Dining Hall in Mueller Leadership Center.

The activity known as #thankaWOW is sponsored by the Remley Women’s Advocates and can be found on social media under the same name. Notes will be delivered to their recipients after Thanksgiving.

The stations — which distribute information, buttons and stickers — also celebrate the 40th anniversary of women at Westminster. Activities that take place all year through Alumni Weekend 2020 are being organized by Westminster Women Advancing Together, or WWAT.
