Alumni networking and support offer a significant boost to alumni seeking to start their careers or move up in their fields.

Pete Beard ’04 visited campus during the spring 2015 Assessment and Aspiration Day to talk to juniors and seniors about preparing for their futures.

Offering advice on how to connect the dots from the Columns to career, Beard says, “Be prepared, be confident, and be determined.”

  2. Have an elevator pitch to sell yourself to recruiters.
