Westminster group attends regional health education conference

Westminster College faculty, staff and students attended the 2018 Meeting of the Minds conference.

Members of The Wellness Center, faculty and peer health educators from Westminster College attended a two-day Meeting of the Minds conference April 5-7 in Kansas City.

Meeting of the Minds is a regional NASPA prevention and health education conference for BACCHUS initiatives. The conference unites college and university peer educators and their advisors, administrators and campus and community law enforcement. This year, the conference brought together prevention specialists from six states, law enforcement officers, students and health professionals working on college and university risk management and prevention education.

Westminster attendees included staff and faculty members Dr. Kasi Lacey, Anne Rulo, Amanda Gowin, Dr. Therese Miller, Lauren Williams and Liz Weise.

Students included Emily Davidson, Destri Eichman, Maggie Morris, Maddie Gregory, Madison Ekern, Cara Wilfong, Jeremy George, Isabel Peng, Briana Patlan, Hannah Marshall, Paola Gramajo Cifuentes and Andrea Ramos.
