Kennedy Assassination Expert to Speak at Westminster for 50th Anniversary of Kennedy Administration

An expert on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy will present a detailed visual record of the assassination and explore the unanswered questions that still make this one of the most controversial events in America history at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the Lecture Hall of the Coulter Science Center at Westminster College.

“The Kennedy Assassination: What Really Happened in Dallas and Why the Truth Still Matters,” a presentation by Dr. Jack H. Gordon, is open to the public as well as the Westminster campus and is being offered at Westminster during the November observance of the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Administration.

JackGordon-JFK-LectureDr. Gordon was the consultant to NBC for the television mini-series “Kennedy” starring Martin Sheen, a consultant for ABC’s 20/20 assassination reports and a member of a 12-person committee charged with selecting a repository for the Los Angeles Police Department records on the Robert F. Kennedy assassination.

He has lectured on the two Kennedy assassinations for over 35 years to students at more than 100 campuses in 44 states.

Highlights of the lecture include:

  • What do we know now about JFK’s assassination that wasn’t known during prior investigations?
  • Why does the truth about President Kennedy’s murder matter more today than ever?
  • Why is the medical evidence key to understanding whether a conspiracy took place?
  • Was Robert Kennedy on the trail to new evidence about his brother’s assassination?
  • Why is major media coverage of the assassination so biased?
  • How could the investigation in President Kennedy’s murder be opened?

Dr. Gordon uses motion pictures and videos, still photographs and slides to provide a visual record of the assassination and discusses the medical evidence, theories and explanations that surround the event.  He addresses specific questions still of public concern such as the mysterious “umbrella man” in Dealey Plaza, the number of shots fired, the possibility of a second gunman on the grassy knoll, the mysterious bullet found in the hospital and the true findings in the medical reports.
