Gary Oldman stars as Winston Churchill in new film opening in the United States on November 22. A red carpet screening will occur at the National Churchill Museum on October 26.

One of the most anticipated films of the year, Darkest Hour, stars Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill. Directed by Joe Wright, the film explores the tumultuous first weeks of Churchill’s premiership in May 1940.

Don’t miss your exclusive chance to see the film before its November release during a red carpet gala at the National Churchill Museum on Thursday, October 26. The film will be screened in the historic Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury.

Join us for a VIP reception, screening and after-party celebration at the National Churchill Museum.

The event will include a special salute to the Eagle Squadron, a group of American airmen who joined Great Britain’s Royal Air Force to fight the Axis Powers before the United States entered World War II. The Eagle Squadron, one of whose fallen members was born and raised in Fulton, Missouri, chose The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury as the Squadron’s official chapel.
